Discussion:
Caitlin- Really liked this book. Smooth read, really entertaining. Enjoyed all the different stories coming together. Would recommend. 4/5
Julie- Didn’t hate it. Felt like it lacked depth. Three underdeveloped stories. Kept my attention, but meh. Would recommend to certain people. 2.5/5
Ali- At first didn’t like, but easy read. I had to know so that kept me reading. Liked the multiple stories. Writing style rudimentary. Abrupt ending. Would recommend to certain people. 3.5/5
Jocelyn- The book was okay. Entertaining overall, but still lacking. Didn’t love the writing style. Predictable. Did like that Solace reminded me of Boulder Creek. Would not recommend. 3/5

Discussion:
Jocelyn- I didn’t really like the book. Didn’t like the writing style or the characters. Too many mysteries thrown out right at the beginning that got annoying, and the main character sucked. Would not recommend. 2.5/5
Ali- Thought I was half right about the killer, but no. Family drama was dumb. Hated the main character. Do like thrillers and this was a good vacation read. Would recommend to certain people. 3/5
Julie- Cheesy writing style. It was like the Shinning and Clue mixed. So much potential but fell short. Junk food read. Would recommend to certain people. 3/5
Caitlin- It was meh. Kept me kind of hooked but wasn’t that memorable. Obvious dumb decisions were made through out. Ending was weird. Would not recommend. 2.5/5

Jocelyn- Overall I loved it! Love this author and her writing style. One of my favorite time periods to learn about, such a time of survival, hope and love. Predictable at parts, but a great read. Would recommend. 4/5

Discussion:
Julie- Not sure how I felt about this book. Reminded me of the Host. Loved all the bird stuff, been having fun watching my yard birds. Lacked details in parts and too much detail in other parts. Hated the end. Would recommend. 3/5
Ali- I liked the book. Easy fast read. Entertaining but had questionable things I didn’t like. Predictable love story. Liked the sarcastic dialog. Story felt kind of pieced together. Would recommend. 3.5/5
Caitlin- It was enjoyable. Easy read, but never captivating. Liked the writing style- humorous. Good job building the characters. Would recommend. 3.5/5
Jocelyn- I liked it overall. Easy read felt like a young adult book. I wished it had stayed more fantasy instead of predictable love story. I really wanted it to be about a changeling. Loved all the bird and nature talk. Didn’t like the end. Might recommend. 3/5
