What to Read?
Okay so I'm the next person to choose a book and I'm torn between Under the Banner of Heaven: A Story of Violent Faith by Jon Krakauer, and Blink by Malcolm Gladwell. Both stories are non-fiction. Under the Banner of Heaven is about a double murder two fundamentalist Mormon brothers committed in the name of God. Blink is about how within the first 2 seconds of meeting someone or walking into a strange house our mind has already made a decision, and it's this decision that protects us from danger. I downloaded the first chapter from both books and both sounded really good, what do you guys think?

Oooh tough call...they both sound good.
ReplyDeleteI think they both sound intrigueing. I would go for Under the Banner. I like a good murder mystery and it being true would be educational.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I don't like about it is it's not a mystery. They tell you in the first chapter who did it, so I don't know if it'll be good.
ReplyDeletewell then lets do Blink
