-All members MUST be prepared to have discussion of something about the book; to evoke discussion with each question.

Defending Jacob (Meriah’s Pick)
Discussion:
Meriah- Really liked it! Liked how it was written from the father’s point of view. Ending was crazy. Would recommend. 4/5
Ali- Really really glad I finished!!Most I’ve read in a day since collage, 250pgs. Liked how the case was built. Liked the two parent’s points of view. Hard to predict. Would recommend. 4/5
Jocelyn- Loved it!! Loved that it was written from the dad’s point of view. Loved all the law stuff and the writing style. The back and forth between past and present. Would definitely recommend. 4/5
Julie- Really enjoyed. Could be a miniseries or movie. Thought the book could have ended in Jamaica. Didn’t want to believe he did it, looking for the happy ending always. Roller coaster of a book. Would recommend. 4/5
Maren- PIE TO THE FACE
"It’s how kids are today. Arch and ironic."
Favorite Characters: Meriah- Andy and Duffy (the cop) Ali- Jonathon Cline (the Lawyer) Jocelyn- Andy Julie- The Grandfather (offered some comic relief)
$$$ Balance $245 Julie and Jocelyn Birthday club, no pay. Meriah paid $20 and Ali paid. Maren owes $10.

Julie- Peanut is official. Possible due date June 18th. Sick as SHIT. Parents met on Thanksgiving. Jocelyn- Loving the 40’s!!! Meriah- Hosting Thanksgiving. Cowboy’s Christmas is Dec.20th. Ali- Got a new tattoo. The Sea Witch. Going to Washington DC in Jan. to be a part of history.
