October 10, 2022 The Hacienda (Julie’s Pick)
Discussion:
Julie- Hard to get into at first but liked it. Hard to read at night. Beautifully written with great descriptions. Already have recommended. 3.75/5
Caitlin- Not into it at first, but once I got into it, I was really into it. Enjoyed all the freaky parts. Good descriptions. Would recommend. 4/5
Ali- Finished on the last day. Well written and great descriptions, but too long sometimes. Scared me. Would recommend.3.5/5
Jocelyn- I judged this book by it’s cover and description. I was pleasantly surprised. Loved that the author put more of an exorcist twist to this story. Would recommend. 3.5/5

Discussion:
Jocelyn- I thought it was an easy read. It felt like a tale that’s already been told. Nothing really in depth about this one. Might recommend. 2.5/5
Julie- I think it had potential but fell short. This author didn’t know what he was doing. Would not recommend. 1.5/5
Caitlin- This book was …..okay. Not my style of writing. Very basic. Would never recommend. 3/5
Ali- Didn’t think I’d finish. Thought in the beginning it could be good, but the end was so dumb. Liked the riddles. Would recommend to certain people. 3/5

Caitlin- I hated this book! J=It just repeated life lessons over and over again. It was trying to be a feel good book, but it was painful to read. Would not recommend. 1/5
Julie- This book was strange in a bad way. Very slow, felt random the whole time. Just so dumb. Would never recommend. 2/5
Jocelyn- This book was painful. I hated it! Authors style was to repeat, repeat, repeat. Would never recommend. .5/5
