Discussion:
Meriah- DID NOT FINISH THE BOOK.
Ali- Good, but long winded. Could have cut out campaigning parts. Overall loved that I learned something. Would recommend to certain people. 3/5
Jocelyn- Really enjoyed the beginning, but then it felt like it just went on and on. Could have been written in 200 pgs. Truly respected her parents. She faced a lot of hard parenting decisions herself. Would not recommend. 3/5

Mike hates his job, I of course say do something about it. Julie- Ayla’s bday party is June 22nd at Hylands 10:00. August 3rd might be my 40th bday party. Thinking Swift St. July 10th is my hernia surgery. Maren- Vine Hill PTA here I come. Finally, Flynn is potty trained. YES!!!

March 31, 2019 Little Fires Everywhere (Maren’s Pick) Meeting Minutes

Discussion:
Maren- Really liked it. Got better and better as I continued to read. This book was recommended to me. I didn’t like the end though. I would recommend it. 4.5/5
Ali- Liked the book. Had to cram, so that kind of sucked. The ending was too vague. Already have recommended. 4/5
Julie- Loved this book! Kept me interested all the way through. Loved all the 90’s references. Already have recommended. 4/5
Jocelyn- I enjoyed the book. Great flowing writing style. Interesting characters and realistic situations. I loved the parts describing Mia’s art. I would recommend. 4.5/5
Meriah- I liked it. I thought I wouldn’t because I judged a book by the cover. I was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend. 4/5

December 30, 2018 A Stranger in the Woods (Meriah’s Pick)

Discussion:
Meriah- Liked it. Felt like it was the same old thriller. The end killed it for me. Junk food reading. I want to go to Scotland so bad! Would recommend. 3/5
Julie- Really enjoyed it, but parts were too farfetched. Enjoyed that it was a good fast read. Kept me guessing till the end. Would recommend. 3.5/5
Jocelyn- I enjoyed. It was a fast-paced page turner. She did great at making everyone a suspect. Loved the Scottish one liners. Parts were unbelievable and I hated the end! Would recommend. 3/5
Ali- Enjoyed the book. Getting started was hard, but then I couldn’t stop. Already have recommended. 3/5
Maren- Really entertaining. Kept me reading the whole time. Parts were unbelievable. Would recommend. 4/5
