Ok ladies,
Since we will never catch up in meetings we will be doing a Two for One on May 22nd. The meeting is at Tristana's house on Sunday May 22nd at 4pm.
Your new assignment (you can put down a Simple Plan if you like since it's not due until may 22nd) is:
Pick a Poem that you will read to the group, have your analysis of the poem ready, then each person will give their take. You may also pick a short story or prose; it must be short enough to read out loud to the group.
This assignment will be our April Meeting make up.
Then we will commence A Simple Plan discussion.

Holy crap I am so excited now. I started searching for my poem or short story and blam! there it was. I almost want to read more but this is a cool assignment. Thanks Meriah for thinking of it you rock. I am so inspired now.

ReplyDeleteI think I found my short story but it's probably one everyone has heard, but I love it so much. It makes me cry every time I read it. It is about the disabled boy who plays baseball. Let me know if you've heard it and I'll look for something else.

ReplyDeleteJulie go for it; I don't think I've read it either. I know you guys haven't ever read mine hehehehe. I picked a poet noone knows is a poet but I used to read his stuff when I was younger and I liked the angst in it.
