Bookclub Meeting Minutes April 25, 2021- The Last House (Jocelyn’s Pick)
Discussion:
Jocelyn- I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it either. The setting was too similar to our last book. It was meant to be a junk food thriller and in the end it was. It still gave me the feeling of “I have to know.” I might recommend. 2.5/5
Julie- I couldn’t stand the writing style. So dumb, another dud. I was just trying to get through it. Hell no I would never recommend. 1/5
Caitlin- Don’t have much to say. Hard to follow. The whole book was a downer. Would not recommend. 2/5
Ali- Decently written thriller. Kept me wanting to know. Hard to start because it was so familiar to our last read. Good twist at the end. I would recommend. 3/5
